Guest Post Can Help Grow Your Online Audience 2019

January 01, 2019
I'm writing guest posts like a madman these days. In fact, more than I've ever had in six years of constant blogging. In addition to my commitment to posting on this blog regularly, it is a considerable time investment. So why bother?
Guest Post

I believe that guest posting is the most important strategy for your blog reader and platform to grow. Let me explain...

What is guest posting?

First of all, let's define our terms. " Posting to the guest" means writing and posting an article on another website or blog.

I offer this on my own website( sometimes) and do it on other blogs with audiences with which I want to speak. It is a great way to get your name out and connect with new readers.

But for the longest time, I overlooked this essential discipline for growing a popular blog. I wish I hadn’t. And I hope you won’t.

There are three reasons why guest posting is such a key strategy for every blogger to build their online influence:

Guest posting builds relationships

Bloggers should have good content. You will build relationships with other bloggers by being a good guest blogger and adding value to the blog of someone else.

Bloggers account for a large percentage of online conversations, in particular on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. They can be very influential. Which makes them have good friends.

By making friends with other bloggers through the posting of guests, you will increase your influence in the social media sector, which will eventually lead to more blog subscribers.

Guest posting is great for search engines

The one that you should not negotiate for guest posting is this: The host blogger must include a link to your blog somewhere( usually at the beginning or end of the post). Over time, these links increase the value of your blog to search engines, making it easier to find your content via Google, Yahoo, Bing and others.

Guest posting introduces you to new people

Perhaps the best part of the guest post is that it allows you to enter and share your message with an already established community. It lets you connect with new people, who can ultimately benefit you if you do the right thing.
If you add value to the debate, you will see that more readers, fans and followers are converted over time. Conversely, if you ask or sell everything you ever do, you may become famous, but you don't want a reputation. You don't wanna be " that man " who has his own agenda hawking.) Add value. Help people with it. Be patient. Be patient. And you're gon na win over time.

What about people guest-posting on your site?

I am also a fan of allowing guest posts from time to time on my own site. You should also consider posting guests on your blog (if you don't already do so). If you ask for guest posts on other blogs, it just makes sense. It enables you to have a mutual relationship with the host blogger. Some bloggers even blog about their posts and link to them from their own blog (giving you some great link juice).  Personally, I’m a fan of this practice.

The first rule of being a good guest

When I guest post for someone else, I do the following:
  • Link to the post from my blog
  • Promote it on Twitter (several times)
  • Thank the person
  • Stick around and respond to comments on the post]
Everyone does not, but it's not a bad idea. However, this is important: If you have to choose between posting guests on your website or posting guests elsewhere, please do so . It's better always to get your name out in new communities.

Guest posting matters

According to my friend, Mike the Search Engine Guru, guest posting on other sites is five times more valuable than creating new content on your own site when it comes to SEO. As long as you get the backlink.)I don't care whether it's true or not. But Mike isn't an imprecise guy, so it's probably.) The point is that it's an excellent strategy to extend your reach and boost your online reputation.
Moreover, if you are a writer who wants to earn more " traditional" publishing opportunities, this is a great first step in getting your writing featured in news websites, magazines and other publications eventually.
If you aren’t satisfied with your blog traffic but aren’t posting on other people’s blogs, you don’t have much to complain about. Start guest posting today, and see your influence grow.
