DOWN SEX DRIVE? HERE SOME CAUSES POSSIBLE

December 30, 2018
T may be embarrassing, but it is not uncommon for people of any age from time to time to experience a drop in their sex drive. If you are confused about why you are less horny than usual, here are some possible problems that can drag your libido down.

Performance anxiety

If you recently had a bad experience between the sheets, you might be afraid of your next one - on - one experience with a wife. Some people may find it difficult to maintain an erection while others may be plagued by premature ejaculation. Nor should any of these sexual health scenarios cause panic. Usually you should be able to overcome these problems and get your groove back with a little advice from a doctor or mental health consultant and some practice with a lady you trust.

You’re not feeling your best

.If you have a cold or other disease, it can be quite hard to get excited. But even if you don't feel the symptoms of a disease, your physical health can be a barrier to recovery from a weakened sex drive. Staying in good physical condition – which means getting the right fitness and eating well–can help your libido in various ways. For one, it’s easier to perform sexually when you’re fit. Then, second, having a healthy body and mind can boost confidence, making you feel much sexier.

Stress and sex

Sex can be a great way to relieve stress, but sometimes it can be hard to get in the mood when you’re feeling over-worked – just ask any college student during finals season. At such high-stress times, it may be best to find a way to help yourself relax when you’re getting in the mood. For instance, some guys may find that a warming lubricant can help them calm down and forget their anxiety, at least until the deed is done. Meditation, exercise or simply partaking in a relaxing activity like reading or spending time with a friend can also reduce sex-blocking stress.
What to do when it persists

If you find that none of these possible scenarios can explain your lack of sex drive, then it may be time to visit a doctor. He or she might diagnose a hormonal problem or other health issue that could be affecting your libido. It’s nothing to be afraid of – chances are your physician will be able to prescribe a treatment to help alleviate your situation.
